Avis Car Rental and its subsidiaries operate one of the world’s best-known car rental brands with approximately 5,500 locations in more than 165 countries. Avis has a long history of innovation in the car rental industry and is one of the world’s top brands for customer loyalty.

Goal:

Lately it seems for every lighting job centered around energy savings, there is an equal amount focusing more on upgrading the lighting to accomplish the task at hand. Avis’ service area as the picture below attests was in need of an upgrade with several lights out and overall low visibility. An improvement in light output was needed in this outdoor service area so that workers could clean out, fuel up and wash the vehicles for the next renters. Servicing the existing fixtures was difficult so reducing the time and financial investment in doing so would be a plus.

Avis needed a whole new lighting layout with brand new LED wallpacks and LED area lights. Premier made sure all the right mounting add-ons came with the fixtures for install, from wall-mount tenons to slipfitters and bullhorns for the area lights. As the before/after pics show, the results were astounding! Light levels increased drastically, aiding workers in making sure the interior and exterior were cleaned sufficiently.
