Type B LED tubes, also known as Direct Drive or Bypass, have become the most popular LED retrofit solution for fluorescent T8 and T12 lighting. An internal driver allows these LED T8 lamps to bypass the existing fluorescent ballast, for added energy and maintenance savings.

This 22W Type B LED T8 delivers 2600 lumens, easily the most on the market for a Type B LED T8. Glass-coated construction provides protection as well as a superior beam angle of 240° (325° visible light area). While maximizing energy savings continues to be at the core of LED retrofits, improving light levels from the old fluorescent lamps is a key for many applications as well, and no LED T8 can do it quite like Keystone’s 22W high output LED T8.
